Bandits have killed a farmer in Shikawa  community and abducted 20 people on different farms in Jangali and Kw

aga in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna state.

   Ishak Usman, Chairman Birnin Gwari Emirate Progressive Union disclosed this yesterday.

   He said they gave farmers up till Friday to pay 12 million naira before they could harvest their crops.

   He added that six people kidnapped at the Farm centre last Saturday in Kwaga community were released on Wednesday after collecting 20 mudus of rice and beans each, 25 litres of red oil, 25 litres of groundnut oil and recharge card worth 10,000.

   Another four kidnapped in Unguwar Liman paid 2.5 million naira ransom.
